Skillet Beef with Baby Potatoes and Smoked Onion Mayo
A quick and easy dish that doesn’t compromise on flavour. This recipe is perfect for a mid-week meal or a cosy weekend dinner.
Ingredients:
-
2 x Coppenagh House Farm beef steaks
-
4-5 baby potatoes, halved
-
1 tbsp Irish rapeseed oil
-
1 tsp Skillet & Spice Everything Italian seasoning
-
1 tbsp Builín Blasta Smoked Onion Mayo
-
Achill Island sea salt to taste
Instructions:
-
Heat the rapeseed oil in a skillet over medium heat.
-
Season the beef steaks with Skillet & Spice Everything Italian seasoning and Achill Island sea salt.
-
Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer depending on your preferred doneness.
-
While the steaks are cooking, boil the baby potatoes until tender (about 10 minutes).
-
Serve the cooked beef on a plate with the baby potatoes on the side.
-
Drizzle Builín Blasta Smoked Onion Mayo over the beef or serve as a dip for the potatoes.
Why it works: The smokiness of the mayo pairs beautifully with the tenderness of our beef, and the baby potatoes add a comforting element to the dish.
